World Teachers’ Day Marked at Arba Minch University

Addis Ababa, October 30, 2021 (FBC) – World Teachers’ Day has been commemorated at Arba Minch University, in Ethiopia from October 28 to 29, 2021 with assorted events.

President of Ethiopian Teachers’ Association Yonhannes Benti reminded the audience that the war incited by Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) has caused destruction to some over 7, 000 schools in the country.

He has therefore urged teachers to strive for national sovereignty and peaceful coexistence.

According to ENA, sixteen research papers on current issues were presented and discussed at the event.
