World Bank donates 17 vehicles to Addis Ababa city

Addis Ababa, February 18, 2021 (FBC) –The World Bank (WB) has donated 17 vehicles to the Addis Ababa city Administration.

Doina Petrescu, Operations Manager at World Bank Ethiopia handed over the keys for the vehicles to Tiratu Beyene, General Manager of the city administration with the rank of deputy mayor.

The donation is part of the project that the bank has been implementing at a cost of $200 million to improve the transport sector in Addis Ababa city.

Tiratu appreciated World Bank for its multiple support to clean water, education and health projects as well as to the productive safety-net program.
