Wellbeing of Ethiopia linchpin of peace and security in Horn of Africa: UNON Direcotr

Addis Ababa, June 17, 2021 (FBC) – Ethiopian Ambassador to Kenya, Meles Alem discussed with Director-General of the United Nations Office at Nairobi, Zainab Hawa Bangura on various regional issues.

During the discussion, the Director-General commended Ethiopia’s contribution in maintaining peace and security in the horn region.

She said wellbing of Ethiopia is a linchpin of peace and security in the Horn of Africa and the entire region at large.

Meles Alem has also exchanged views with the Finish Ambassador to Kenya Erk Landberg on various issues. He briefed the Finish Ambassador on latest developments in Ethiopia while the Erk Landberg reaffirmed commitment of his country to enhance ties with Ethiopia.
