Volunteerism Benefiting Residents

Addis Ababa, October 23, 2021 (FBC) – Lady Mayor of Addis Ababa, Adanech Abebe, has inaugurated over 2000 renovated houses of low income residents in the capital.

The houses have been renovated by volunteer individuals and institutions, including Addis Ababa Transport Bureau in the months of July and August.

Reminding the existence of age-long philanthropic tradition of Ethiopians, Adanech has extended her gratefulness for the volunteers who participated in the work.

Etenesh Zerfu, one of those whose houses have been fully renovated, has said “it is a new beginning in her life”.
