Upper House Speaker bids farewell to outgoing EHRC Chief

Addis Ababa, July 5, 2024 (FBC) – Speaker of the House of Peoples Representatives, Tagesse Chafo, bids farewell to Daniel Bekele, the outgoing Chief Commissioner of the Ethiopian Human Rights Commission, who completed his tenure.

It is noteworthy to recall that Daniel Bekele was appointed as the Chief Commissioner of the Ethiopian Human Rights Commission on July 2, 2019 presenting himself before the House of Peoples Representatives.
