UNIDO commends reform measures being undertaken by Gov’t of Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, June 20, 2023 (FBC) – Ambassador Mesganu Arga, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia met and discussed with Director and Representative of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), Aurelia Patrizia Calabrò, at his office today.

During the discussion they discussed ways of scaling up partnership between Ethiopia and the UN agency.

Ambassador Mesganu expressed Ethiopia’s readiness to further cooperate in the areas of agro-processing, textile, leather and leather products as well as pharmaceuticals, among others.

Aurelia Patrizia, on her part commended the reform measures being undertaken by the Government of Ethiopia.

She also briefed the state Minister on the progress of UNIDO activities in Ethiopia.
