UNICEF pledges to support Ethiopia’s efforts to the realization of improved child dev’t

Addis Ababa, December 13, 2022 (FBC) – Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Ethiopia to the United Nations, Taye Atske Selassie met with the newly appointed UNICEF Ethiopia Country Representative, Aboubacar Kampo to discuss various issues of mutual concern.

The two exchanged views on UNICEF’s core programs being implemented in Ethiopia.

Aboubacar Kampo pledged UNICEF’s continued support to Ethiopia’s efforts to the realization of the rights of children and wellbeing through improved child development.

The European Union has recently approved 1.5 million USD support efforts underway in Ethiopia to tackle malnutrition.
