UNFPA vows collaboration with partners to reduce maternal, infant mortality in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, May 11, 2023 (FBC) – The newly appointed United Nations Population Fund Country Resident Representative for Ethiopia, Koffi Kouame, presented a copy of his credential letter to the Director General of Protocol Affairs at the Foreign Ministry, Melaku Bedada.

Koffi Kouame said UNFPA will enhance collaboration with partner institutions in Ethiopia to reduce maternal and infant mortality through various programs.

Melaku said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia will provide the necessary support for the success of his endeavors.
