UNDP pledges continued support for Ethiopia’s National Rehabilitation Commission

Addis Ababa, February 1, 2024 (FBC) – Commissioner for the Ethiopian National Rehabilitation Commission, Ambassador Teshome Toga met with UNDP Ethiopia Resident Representative, Samuel Gbaydee Doe to discuss ongoing cooperation.

Ambassador Teshome appreciated UNDP’s continued support for the Rehabilitation Commission since its inception.

The Commissioner confirmed that UNDP has provided the Commission with supports including technical assistance in its efforts in human resource development, structuring and program formulation and material aid such as office equipment and vehicles.

Samuel Gbaydee Doe, for his part, reaffirmed UNDP’s continued support to Commission for the realization of the program aims to rehabilitate of ex-combatants.

The UNDP Representative also pledged to mobilize more resources to support the efforts of the Commission.
