UN Deputy Secretary-General arrives in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, April 30, 2023 (FBC) – The United Nations Deputy Secretary-General Amina J. Mohammed arrived in Ethiopia, UN Country Office in Addis Ababa confirmed.

It is said that the Deputy Secretary-General’s visit to Ethiopia aims to engage in a high-level strategic dialogue with officials of African Union as part of the outcomes from the 2022 AU-UN Conference.

During her stay in Ethiopia, she will also meet with government officials, UN country team in Ethiopia and other stakeholders, it is disclosed.
