UK Special Envoy for the Red Sea, HoA in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, August 8, 2023 (FBC) – UK’s high level delegation consisting of Sarah Montgomery, UK Special Envoy for the Red Sea and Horn of Africa, Vicky Seymour, Deputy Director in the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and FCDO Director Matthew Wyatt are in Ethiopia.

It is stated that the delegation is expected to meet with Ethiopian government and the African Union officials.

The delegation is in Ethiopia to support meaningful dialogue towards sustainable peace in Ethiopia, according to British embassy in Addis Ababa.

The delegation is also expected to observe the impacts of UK’s humanitarian work with UNICEF Ethiopia.
