UK reiterates commitment to support transitional justice process, national dialogue in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, June 13, 2024 (FBC) – State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Mesganu Arga received the UK Special Envoy to the Horn of Africa and Red Sea, Alison Blackburne at his office.

The two discussed bilateral issues of mutual concern, latest developments in Ethiopia, peace and security issues in the Horn of Africa and economic and development issues.

They exchanged views on how to strengthen UK’s support to the efforts being exerted by the international community to ensure peace and stability in the Horn of Africa and expand trade and investment in Ethiopia.

On the occasion, Special Envoy Alison Blackburne reiterated UK’s commitment to support the transitional justice and the national dialogue process in Ethiopia.
