Uganda’s Chief of Land Forces, Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba visits GERD

Addis Ababa, August 24, 2022 (FBC) – Uganda’s Chief of Land Forces, Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba who led a delegation of his country visited the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) project on Tuesday.

Lt Gen Muhoozi was led on the tour by Ethiopia’s Defence Minister, Dr Abrham Belay and the Director General National intelligence Security Services, Temesgen Tiruneh.

Muhoozi, who arrived in Ethiopia on Sunday, has since toured security facilities and technology centers.

On Monday Lt Gen Muhoozi took a tour of the Information Network Security Administration (INSA), Federal Police Headquarters, the new Science and Technology Centre and Artificial Intelligence Centre.
