Two policemen arrested after brutally beating a woman 

Addis Ababa, October 2, 2021 (FBC) – Addis Ababa Police Commission arrested two policemen who were filmed while brutally beating a woman with a child at a particular place called Michael Square on October 1 in the capital.

The policemen have been arrested after government officials and police officers responded to the public outrage inflicted by circulation of a video showing one of the suspects battering the woman brutally

The Commission announced that it is investigating the policeme, warning its members and other government officials of misusing power and responsibility in such an abusive manner.

Addis Ababa Police indicated that it sacked 171 police officers and members during the last Ethiopian year over illegal activities.
