Addis Ababa, December 26, 2024 (FMC) — Transformative development projects being implemented in Addis Ababa are reshaping and changing the Ethiopian capital’s story boldly and with purpose, Deputy Prime Minister Temesgen Truneh said.
The Deputy PM shared his thoughts about the meteoric transformation of the capital of Africa after visiting progress of various development projects in the city after the conclusion of the ruling Prosperity Party’s Executive Committee recent session.
“From revitalized corridors and environmental protections to riverside developments and the striking redevelopment of Piazza and Kazanchis, these efforts are changing the city’s story—boldly and with purpose,” Mr. Temesgen noted on his social media page.
The new housing and integrated infrastructure, designed for those impacted by these projects, embody our commitment to people-centered progress, he pointed out.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, these are not just buildings or roads; they are a testament to what’s possible when innovation meets vision.
“Let these projects serve as inspiration—a blueprint for cities across the nation,” Temesgen underscored.
He also the leadership of the Addis Ababa city administration for driving this change, stating: “You are not just building a city; you are building hope.”
