TPLF Horrendous attack on Northern Command of army to be remembered nationally on Wednesday

Addis Ababa, October 31, 2021 (FBC) – The treasonous act and terrorist attack committed by the renegade TPLF group on November 4, 2021 against the Northern Command of the National Defense Forces is to be remembered nationally on coming Wednesday.

State Minister for Government Communication Services, Kebede Desisa, in a statement issued today, said that November 4, one of darkest days in Ethiopian history, will be commemorated on Wednesday under the theme, “I will not forget they day, I am part of the Ethiopian National Army”

He said the observance of the day is aimed to commemorate the sacrifices made by soldiers of the national army and help the people swear allegiance to the army as guardian of sovereignty of the nation.

During the Memorial Day Ethiopians will attend a “put hands on chest” event for 45 seconds starting from 9:00 AM in the morning in remembering the national heroes massacred by the terrorist group.

Candle lighting and blood donation will take place as part of Memorial Day, the Spokesperson said.
