TPLF Hampers Agricultural Activities, But Nation Works to Compensate for Produce Reduction: Ministry
Addis Ababa, September 28, 2021 (FBC) – Ministry of Agriculture said that though the war with terrorist TPLF interferes with the agricultural activities in parts of the country Ethiopia as a whole never faces shortage of production.
State Minister Mandefro Nigusie (PhD), speaking to Ethiopian Press Agency, said activities are underway in surplus producing areas of the country that can compensate shortages to happen in conflict plagued areas.
In the 2020/21 main season, by covering 13 million hectares of land with food crops, the country plans to gather 400 million quintals of produce.
