TPLF enablers’ actions prolonging peoples’ suffering in Tigray : TDP

Addis Ababa, August 23, 2022 (FBC) – Some lobbyists and special interest groups who have been supporting the terrorist TPLF should realize that they are just prolonging the suffering of the People of Tigray and must refrain from such cynical actions sooner than later , the Tigray Democratic Party (TDP) said.

Mulubirhan Haile, Public Relations Head of TDP, said that the terrorist group has been preparing to launch another bloodiest war by rejecting the proposed peace talks from the federal government. T-TPLF’s belligerence and cruelty have put the people of Tigray in great trouble, he added.

“The People of Tigray are already in big mess. When war is added to this problem, it plunges the people into even greater trouble,” he indicated.

According to him, whether they are aware of the facts or not, some international organizations, including media outlets, are still helping the group and circulating its propaganda.

He also opined that lasting peace cannot be brought only through unilateral efforts. Until it entered the war which was started by the terrorist TPLF group, the federal government had been making several efforts to resolve the problem peacefully.

Efforts by the federal government so far to resolve problems peacefully have failed because of the terrorist group’s refusal, he said adding, that it is the federal government that is still offering an alternative to peace and is working with commitment to resolve the problem through dialogue.

Mulubirhan urged that the international community should understand that the T-TPLF believes in conspiracy and power than peace talks.

He further called upon the international community to stand by the side of the people and government of Ethiopia and urged them to be a voice for the people of Tigray who have been in deep trouble because of the terrorist TPLF group, as per EPA
