TPLF brutally massacred more than 600 civilians in Kobo town, surroundings: Residents

Addis Ababa, December 24, 2021 (FBC) – Residents witnessed that the media that the terrorist TPLF Group massacred more than 600 innocent civlans in Kobo town and surroundings, North Wollo Zone when it invaded the area.

Eye witnesses said that the militans of the terrorist Organization forebidden families of the victims from burring bodies of their beloved ones.

The terrorist organization brutally killed innocents including laborers, mothers, youths and other segments of the community in public based on their ethnic identity in retaliation for the strong defensive combat the militia and and armed people of the area conducted agains the invadors months ago.

Particularly on September 10, 2021 alone, the terrorist group troops massacred 89 innocents in Kobo whom the residents burried in a mass grave in the town. The next day, during the anniversary of the Ethiopian new year, the rebels shot 16 innocents dead who were also laid to rest in a mass burial place, the residents explained.

These numbers do not include those who were massacred by the terrorist organization in the vicinity of Kobo town, according to residents.

The bodies were laid on the ground uncovered for days because the residents were prohibited by the Junta’s fighters from conducting funeral for the victims, they added.
