Top Ethiopian military officers plant trees

Addis Ababa, June 22, 2020 (FBC) –Senior military leaders of the Ethiopian Defence Forces today planted trees in the premises of the new office building of the Ministry of Defence.

The tree planting ceremony was attended by Chief of Staff of the National Defence Forces, Gen. Adem Mohammed, his deputy Gen. Berhanu Jula and other senior officers.

Gen. Adem on the occasion declared the launch of this year’s green legacy initiative.

He said Ethiopian defence forces will plant 5 million trees this rainy season.
