Tigray Region Interim Admin discussing with World Bank representatives

Addis Ababa, May 15, 2023 (FBC) – Representatives of the World Bank Group are discussing with the Interim Administration of the Tigray Region. Officials of the Ministry of Finance are in attendance of the meeting.

Present at the meeting are World Bank Coutry Director for Ethiopia, Ousmane Dione, Head of the Interim Administration of Tigray Region, Getachew Reda and the Minister of State for Finance, Semerita Sewasew, as well as members of the Interim Administration.

Ways how to support the rebuilding and restoration of institutions damaged due to the conflict in the conflict are among the major topics discussed.

The information from the Office of the interim admin indicates that a survey on the damage caused by the conflict in the region is being discussed.
