Tigray Provisional Administration Chief Executive met with region’s political parties
Addis Ababa, November 19, 2020 (FBC) – Provisional Administration of Tigray Regional State Chief Executive held discussions with registered political parties in the region.
Chief Executive of the Interim Administration, Dr. Mulu Nega and representatives of political parties participating in Tigray Regional State have exchanged views on the ongoing situation in the country.
Discussants stressed efforts to be taken in order to restore peace in Tigray Region.
They also discussed how to foster involvement of registered political parties in restoring peace and normalizing situations in the region.
Dr. Mulu Nega briefed party leaders and representatives on major planned activities to be carried out the interim administration.
Preparations are well underway to effectuate a provisional charter having six articles regulating administrative restructuring, economic stimulation in the region, among others.
Restoration of peace and stability, ensuring rule of law and justice, restoration of social services and capacitating political parties to participate in the upcoming national are activities incorporated in the provisional chapter, it is indicated.
