Tigray interim admin urges some int’l media to report reality on the ground
Addis Ababa, March 10, 2021 (FBC) –Chief Executive of the interim administration of Tigray regional state, Dr Mulu Nega, accused some international media of reporting distorted information about the region.
The report by them regarding the current situations in the regional state doesn’t reflect the reality on the ground, he said in a press conference issued today.
“They should report the reality on the ground,” he said.
The TPLF group is responsible for all problems in the regional state, he said, adding some international media however tried to shift the blame onto government security forces.
He added the interim administration, in partnership with federal security forces, is currently engaged in restoring stability and delivering basic services to the residents.
Dr Mulu said legal measures are being taken against remnants of TPLF groups who have been striving to hinder the on-going peace building efforts.
Efforts to rebuild Tigry through the support from the federal, partner organizations and regional state are progressing well, he added.
