Three French companies express their interest to work in Ethiopia, support digitalisation endeavors

Addis Ababa, August 31, 2022 (FBC) – Ambassador Henok Tefera together with a delegation composed of university presidents, G.A Engineering private company, discussed with three French technology companies: ALEPH, ARINC, and THALES on August 25, 2022.

The three high tech companies are working in different countries on border control, internet surveillance, CCTV camera, digital identity and security. Their technology solutions are utilised in many sectors. Ethiopia is on a reform path and the demand for technology is high. 

ALEPH Director General, Yannick Rolland, ARINC Managing Director Alain Marsan, and THALES Strategy and Marketing Identity and Biometric Solutions Vice-President Jean-Claude Perrin all expressed their interest to work in Ethiopia and support country’s digitalisation and modernisation endeavours.

Ambassador Henok Teferra and Hon. Dr Delasa Bulcha stressed the companies’ collaboration with Ethiopia, both with government institutions and private companies like G.A Engineering is vital for transfer of knowledge and skills.
