Theologian Earns His Fifth Master’s Degree
Addis Ababa, October 10, 2021 (FBC) – Aba Gedeon Berhane now earns his fifth MA Degree in Educational Planning and Management from Addis Ababa University.
His previous Master’s Degrees, from various universities, are in Theology, Systematic Theology, Philology, and Counseling Psychology.
His Bachelor of Arts is in Theology.
He as well as completed ‘Dgua’, ‘Qine’, and the like, highly regarded education types and levels in the Ethiopian Orthodox Church tradition, known to have required many years to finalize.
Speaking to Ethiopian Press Agency at his graduation yesterday, Aba Gedeon plans to study for his Doctoral Degree in literature as of the coming academic year.
Currently a lecturer at Trinity University here in the capital, the 43-year old Aba Gedeon says education should be a life time endeavor as it grants the learner with the tools of knowledge and skills that help reveal the ‘mysteries’ of this world and beyond.
He thus urges for education becomes a duty, an obligation or a responsibility of every citizen rather than to be merely considered a right.
