The Walias return to training ahead of their AFCON2023 qualifier match against Malawi

Addis Ababa, June 12, 2023 (FBC) – Ethiopia’s national team, alias The Walia Antelopes, returned to training sessions and started preparations ahead of their fifth game of the Africa Cup of Nations 2023 qualifier Group D match against Malawi.

It is stated that the national team members held the first training session at Adama Science and Technology University Stadium.

It is also said that 17 players were present in today’s open training schedule and the remaining five players will join up the squad for training from tomorrow.

It is to be remembered that the list of 23 players called up for the national team was announced last Saturday (June 10).

It is noted that The Walias will play their fifth group game against Malawi in the AFCON2023 qualifiers against Malawi next week on June 20, in Maputo, capital of Mozambique.
