The Duchess of Edinburgh visits Ethiopian Airlines HQ

Addis Ababa, October 9, 2023 (FBC) – Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Edinburgh, Sophie Helen Rhys-Jones, has visited Ethiopian Airlines’ headquarters in Addis Ababa, today.

During her visit to the Airline, HRH Sophie Helen Rhys was accompanied by Darren Welch, the British Ambassador to Ethiopia and Permanent Representative to the African Union, and delegates.

Her Royal Highness and the delegates held discussion with Ethiopian Group CEO Mr. Mesfin Tasew and Executive Management and visited Ethiopian Airlines’ state-of-the-art facilities.

She has paid an official visit to Ethiopia since yesterday, it is indicated.

It is learned that HRH The Duchess of Edinburgh flew the A350 Simulator to London.

The 50th Anniversary of Ethiopian Airlines’ services to the United Kingdom has also been celebrated at Ethiopian Aviation University.
