Terrorist TPLF masterminds conflicts among neighboring communities in Ethiopia: Sidama President

Addis Ababa, August 17, 2021 (FBC) – President of the Sidama Regional State, Desta Ledamo said the terrorist TPLF was the criminal mastermind behind a number of conflicts between neighboring communities in several parts of Ethiopia.

Addressing consultative meeting that brought together community representatives and government officials from Oromia and Sidama region, Desta Ledamo said the terrorist group was leading Ethiopia in divide and rule policy that was marked by continuous conflicts among Ethiopians for 27 years.

The terrorist group has exploited cultural and religious disparities among nations, nationalities and peoples of Ethiopia for its segregational approach in politics of the country, he explained.

After it was driven out of the central power and established its hideout in Tigray region, the criminal enterprise has formed alliances with external powers, and is conspiring against Ethiopians to dismantle the nation, he said, calling all enabled citizens to fight the group and reserve sovereignty of the country.
