Terrorist TPLF continues diverting humanitarian aid to combatants

Addis Ababa, September 02, 2022 (FBC) – The terrorist TPLF continues stealing and diverting the desperately needed humanitarian aid meant for people in need in Tigray region for the war it waged against the nation, reports confirm.

Flour, nutritious food and other materials provided by international aid organizations to the people of Tigray region are being traced in the areas and garrisons reclaimed by the Ethiopian joint forces in Amhara region.

Since its inception, the terrorist TPLF has a long history of looting humanitarian aid from the poor society and redirecting it to war.

In the previous raids by the terrorist group in the Amhara and Afar regions, it has been confirmed the terrorist group militia were using nutritious foods that they coercively snatched away from needy residents of the Tigray region.

When it attacked Ethiopian Defense force for the third time in less than 2 years and re-initiated the current war, terrorist TPLF stole 570,000 liters of fuel from the World Food Program (WFP) warehouse in Mekele, which was meant for emergency aid distribution.

Following this blatant act, the international community, including the United Nations have condemned terrorist TPLF’s theft and warned it to return the fuel it robbed.
