Sudanese Sovereign Council Deputy Chairperson arrives in Ethiopia

Deputy Chairman of the Sudanese Transitional Sovereign Council, Lieutenant-General Mohamed Hamdan Daglo has arrived in Ethiopia today to discuss current issues with Ethiopian Government.

Lt. General Mohammed has been accorded warm welcome from Deputy Prime Minister Demeke Mekonnen, Foreign Minister Gedu Andargachew and Chief of Staff the Ethiopian Defence Forece General Adem Mohammed up on his arrival at Bole International Airport.

The Sudanese high official is expected to have discussions with Ethiopian High Level Authorities on bilateral and other current issues.

It is to be recalled that the Sudanese Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok held talks with his Ethiopian and Egyptian counterparts a week before paving a way for the resumption of the tripartite talks on GERD
