South Sudan delegation visits Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam

Addis Ababa, August 9, 2014 (FBC) A delegation led by Kong Tiptip Gatluwak, Special Adviser to the President of South Sudan visited the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam. The delegation, which is on an official visit to Ethiopia, toured the progress of the Great Renaissance Dam today.

Delegation also took part in Ethiopia’s Green Legacy Initiative planting trees on the premises of the National Intelligence and Security University.

The delegation visited the reforms carried out in the National Defense Forces and is expected to visit activities in security institutions during their stay in the next two days.

Ethiopia and South Sudan will sign agreements to strengthen their cooperation in ensuring peace and security and preventing terrorism in East Africa.
