Some 87 Ethiopian migrants repatriated home from Djibouti

Addis Ababa, March 13, 2023 (FBC) – Ethiopian Embassy in Djibouti in collaboration with IOM repatriated 87 vulnerable Ethiopians to home.

Among the returnees, 20 entered Djibouti from Yemen, while the remaining 67 had intended to migrate to Yemen but were subjected to abuse and exploitation by smugglers along the eastern route, according to the Embassy.

The Ethiopian Embassy in Djibouti in partnership with IOM has been facilitating safe return of Ethiopian migrants to their home country.
