Some 60 Ethiopians return home from Tanzania

Addis Ababa, August 1, 2022 (FBC) – Ethiopia in partnership with International Organization for Migration (IOM) has repatriated home citizens who were in perilous situation in detention centers of Tanzania.

The operation, in close collaboration with the Tanzanian Immigration Department, Ethiopian Embassy in Tanzania and the Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was funded by the Government of Sweden.

Head of Programmes at IOM in Tanzania, David Hofmeijer said that activities are underway to return Ethiopian migrants in Tanzania as per flight schedule.
