Somalia’s President arrives in Asmara for working visit

Addis Ababa, October 4, 2020 (FBC) – Somalia’s President Mohammed Abdullahi Mohammed,today arrived in Asmara, Eritrea for a 2-day working visit.

President Mohammed and his delegation were accorded warm welcome by President Isaias Afwerki on arrival at Asmara International Airport, said Yemane Gebremeskel, Eritrea’s Minister of Information.

“The two Heads of State will discuss progress of bilateral ties, measures of its further consolidation as well as regional developments and trends,” he said on twitter.

The Somali President and his delegation will also visit various development sites and projects, he added.
