Somalia President reaffirms commitment to strengthen strategic ties with Ethiopia
Addis Ababa, May 3, 2021 (FBC) – President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed Farmaajo has reaffirmed commitment to strengthen ties of strategic partnership with Ethiopia.
The pledge came at the time when the President received credentials of the newly appointed Ethiopian Ambassador to Somalia, Abdulfatah Abdullahi Hassan at the State House, The Villa Somalia.
President Mohamed Farmaajo, on the occasion, reaffirmed the commitment of his administration to strengthening regional cooperation in the Horn of Africa and deepen ties of strategic partnership with Ethiopia.
The newly appointed Ambassador and Somalian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Mohamed Abdirizak Mohamud Abubakar have so far held bilateral consultations between the two neighboring countries on regional and international issues of common interest.
