Somali region president meets with WFP senior officials

Addis Ababa, August 16, 2023 (FBC) – Somali Regional State President Mustafe M. Omer held a discussion with a delegation led by Mark Gordon, Senior Adviser of World Food Programme (WFP)’s aid verification project.

It is stated that the discussion aims to boost and restart the food aid supply project in the region.

In the meeting, the two dignitaries also advised on provision of food aid for beneficieries and the areas where food aid is distributed in the region, as per the regional state-affiliated media.
