Somali Chief Admin briefs USAID Ethiopia Mission Director on drought situation in the region

Addis Ababa, February 8, 2022 (FBC) – Chief Administrator of the Somali Regional State, Mustafa Omer briefed the USAID Ethiopia Mission Director, Sean Jones on drought situation and the ongoing response in the region.

The two have discussed the drought situation, the ongoing response and the gaps in the humanitarian situation.

Mustafa expressed gratitude USAID for its continued humanitarian and development assistance to the region and the country at large.

He expressed hope that USAID would enhance its support in addressing similar challenges in the region.
