Siemens Healthineers donates NX2 ultrasound devices to Ministry of Health

Addis Ababa, June 1, 2022 (FBC) – The Ministry of Health received ten NX2 ultrasound devices donated by a Siemens Healthineers, German company to support the Ethiopian health system in further mitigating the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic.

During the handover ceremony, Ambassador Stephan Auer reiterated that Germany always stands by Ethiopia’s side.

“The donation of ultrasound equipment from Siemens Healthineers makes an important contribution to the diagnosis and treatment of Covid 19 patients, and it is just one component of the multi-layered support we offer to our Ethiopian friends and partners,” he added.
