Seven more people test positive for COVID-19 in Ethiopia
Addis Ababa, April 16, 2020 (FBC) -Ethiopia has registered seven new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases out of the 401 samples tasted over the past 24 hours.
The total number of confirmed cases in the country has now reached 92.
All today’s confirmed cases are Ethiopian nationals, according to the Ministry of Health. Six of them have travel history abroad.
Ethiopia has so far registered three deaths and 15 recoveries from the virus.
According to the latest figures from Johns Hopkins University, more than two million cases of coronavirus have been registered globally.
More than 135,000 people have died and more than 516,693 have recovered from the virus.
