Saudi Arabia Committed To Deepen Relations With Ethiopia: State Minister
Addis Ababa, December 9, 2019 (FBC) – State Minister of Foreign Affairs Hirut Zemene today received and held talks with the Saudi Arabian State Minister Ahmed bin Abdul Aziz Qattan.
The State Minister recounted the deep seated relations between the two countries and thanked Saudi Arabia for their comprehensive support extended to Ethiopia.
She also underlined that the two countries should collaborate in facing challenges posed by human trafficking.
Hirut also briefed her Saud Arabian counterpart on issues related with the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam.
The Saudi Arabian State Minister on his part commended the warm reception accorded to the delegates and reassured Saudi Arabia’s commitment to further deepen relations and support Ethiopia’s development endeavors.
A high level Saudi Arabian delegation led by Ahmed bin Abdul Aziz Qattan arrived in Addis Ababa for a three-day official visit last evening.
