Samaritan’s Purse donates 13 tons of medical supplies to Ethiopia
Addis Ababa, February 16, 2022 (FBC) – Samaritan’s Purse DC-8 departed for Ethiopia from the U.S. with more than 13 tons of medical supplies yesterday.
Representative from Samaritan’s Purse, Edward Graham and Ethiopian Ambassador to Ethiopia, Fitsum Arega saw the plane off at Greensboro, NC.
On the occasion, Ambassador Fitsum said, “The people of Ethiopia’s northern regions have suffered much as a result of the conflict and so many hospitals and health centers have been looted and destroyed due to attrocities committed by the terrorist TPLF”
Ambassador Fitsum also expressed gratitude to Samaritan’s Purse for donating and transporting medical equipment and supplies to the Ministry of Health of Ethiopia for replenishing hospitals looted in the conflict.
