S. Sudanese parliamentary delegation says gained valuable insights from Ethiopian Counterparts

Addis Ababa, November 22, 2024 (FBC) – A South Sudanese parliamentary delegation has successfully wrapped up its visit to Ethiopia, focused on exchanging insights and experiences.

During the trip, Dr. Nigussie Meshesha, Deputy Secretary General of the House Secretariat, provided an overview of the responsibilities and functions of the Ethiopian Parliament, including the distinctions between the House of Federation and the House of People’s Representatives, as well as the roles of the Standing Committees.

The discussions also included strategies to strengthen inter-parliamentary collaboration between the two nations. The South Sudanese delegates expressed their appreciation for the knowledge gained during their visit and committed to fostering deeper ties moving forward.
