Russian cultural centers will be inaugurated in Tunisia, Morocco, Zambia, and Tanzania

Addis Ababa, July 27, 2024 (FBC) – Russia is set to intensify its cultural and educational relations with several nations this year. In 2024, Russian cultural centres will be inaugurated in Tunisia, Morocco, Zambia, and Tanzania. This initiative is part of a broader program reported by the Russian agency Rossotrudnichestvo, which intends to open 25 additional education centers in 15 countries around the world.

These new centers will play a vital role in promoting Russian culture and language abroad. Each centre, managed by Rossotrudnichestvo, will organize different cultural and creative events and meetings.

They will furthermore offer Russian language courses, specifically aimed at future students wishing to continue their studies in Russia. In addition, these centers will be equipped with libraries containing works in the Russian language, thus facilitating access to Russian literature and culture for locals.

The opening of these centers is part of Russia’s strategy aimed at developing and strengthening its international relations through cultural and educational exchanges, according to Sputnik.
