Russia vows to help Ethiopia improve pandemic preparedness

Addis Ababa, November 27, 2023 (FBC) – Russia will help Ethiopia improve its epidemic preparedness capacity, Russian health agency Rospotrebnadzor says.

A delegation of the Russian Health Agency discussed with officials of the Ethiopian Health Ministry on potential areas of cooperation.

The delegation stated that Russia will also assist Ethiopia in the development of laboratories. Moreover, the two countries agreed to conduct joint scientific research, according to Rospotrebnadzor.
