Russia stands by Ethiopia side in any case: Amb Terekhin

Addis Ababa, November 23, 20202 (FBC) –Russia said it stands by the side of Ethiopia in any case, according to the House of People’s Representatives (HPR).

Foreign Relations and Peace Affairs Standing Committee of the House today held discussion with a 4-member delegation led by Russian Ambassador to Ethiopia, Evgeny Terekhin.

Russia understands the current situation in Ethiopia, the ambassador said, adding his country wants to strengthen its 120 years long ties with Ethiopia.

“Russia stands by the side of Ethiopia in any case,” he said, adding the two countries have a long-standing relationship based on mutual understanding and trust.
