Russia reiterates support to Ethiopia in Education sector

Addis Ababa, October 20, 2020 (FBC) – Russian Ambassador to Ethiopia Evgeny Terekhin reiterated commitment of his country to continue support to Ethiopia in the education sector.

The Ambassador held discussion with Minister of Ministry of Education, Dr. Getahun Mekuria on the Russian-Ethiopian Commission on Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation and Trade to be held in Addis Ababa this year.

The two also exchanged views on the fully funded Russian scholarships for international students.

Ethiopia and Russia established diplomatic relations on April 21, 1943.
