Russia-Ethiopia-Djibouti business forum takes place via videoconference
Addis Ababa, January 24, 2022 (FBC) – A business forum under the theme “Russia-Ethiopia-Djibouti: prospects for business development” has been held via videoconference.
The forum has been organized by the Coordinating Committee for Economic Cooperation with African Countries (AFROCOM) of the Russian Chamber of Commerce.
Representatives of chambers of commerce of the three countries, specialized ministries of Ethiopia and Djibouti, the business communities of Russia, Ethiopia and Djibouti took part in the event, According to Embassy of Russia in Addis Ababa.
Russian Ambassador to Ethiopia, Evgeny Terekhin also addressed the conference participants.
The event helped to raise awareness of Russian, Ethiopian and Djiboutian small and medium entrepreneurs about the potential and possibilities of each other.
The speakers expressed confidence that the videoconference will serve to strengthen trade and economic relations between the three countries.
AFROCOM plans to organize business mission of Russian business representatives to Ethiopia and Djibouti in February 2022.
