RRS, ILO ink MoU to further enhance existing cooperation

Addis Ababa, June 30, 2023 (FBC) – Ethiopia’s Refugees and Returnees service (RRS) and the International Labour Organization (ILO) pen MoU to further enhance existing cooperation and embark on new areas of engagement.

RRS Director General, Tesfahun Gobezay and Director of ILO Office for the Horn of Africa Alexio Musindo have inked the MoU.

It is stated that the signed MoU enhances commitment and strategic partnership in achieving the two sides shared goals of improving the lives of refugees and the communities that host them in different parts of Ethiopia.

According to ILO Horn of Africa based on the MoU the parties committed to further reinforce their engagement in Promotion of the Decent Work Agenda, Community-based and area-specific approaches, Government-led processes and Rights-based, age, gender and diversity
