RRS chief meets with the UN Refugee Agency DG

Addis Ababa, January 29, 2024 (FBC) – The Director-General of Refugees and Returnees Service of Ethiopia (RRS), Ms. Teyiba Hasen, met and held a discussion with the Director-General of Commissioner of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Filippo Grandi.

The two dignitaries deliberated on the progress in support of refugees and Asylum seekers in Ethiopia, the RRS chief confirmed via a social media post.

She further confirmed that they outlined the challenges people in need are facing and agreed to resolve to address those challenges.

“Our partnership grows offering beacon of hope for those seeking safety and stability,” Ms. Teyiba emphasized.
