Retired soldiers in Dawro Zone swear to pay any sacrifice to defend sovereignty of Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, August 25, 2021 (FBC) – Retired soldiers living in Dawro Zone of Southern Nations Nationalities and Peoples of Ethiopia have renewed commitment to pay any sacrifice to defend sovereignty of Ethiopia from any threat.

The ex-troops have staged rallies to reaffirm support for the National Defense Force and denoce atrocities being committed by the terrorist TPLF group and its allies.

Police members and various segments of the community have also participated in the demostration.

On the demonstration, the retired soldiers echoed slogans such as “Ethiopia’s path to prosperity will not be impeded by any force,”, “Law and Order of Ethiopia shall not be violated by terrorist groups like TPLF and others,”, “We are ready to give our lives for sovereignty and glory of Ethiopia”, among others.
